As you make your way around the Tuckerman Brewing Co. site, you'll learn about the Tuckerman way of life.
Kirsten Neves and Nik Stanciu were 24 years old in 1998, and weren't sure their career paths were heading in the direction they wanted to follow. Nik was a scientist and Kirsten was thinking about law school. Nik & Kirsten moved to the Mount Washington Valley of New Hampshire and took jobs at a local ski area.
They wanted to be in business for themselves, but what would it be. They fell in love with the mystique of Mount Washington and Tuckerman Ravine and had been doing some home brewing of beer. Then there was the epiphany. Let's start a brewery and name it after the summer and fall hiking destination and most famously, spring skiing Mecca - Tuckerman Ravine. As another maker of fine beer would say, "brilliant"!
As our business has grown, we moved into a larger facility at 64 Hobbs Street in 2004 and then into an even bigger building at 66 Hobbs St in 2014, we added extra equipment and we opened our new Tasting Room and tap house. Starting in 2015 we began a Tuckerman Brewing Concert Series featuring great live music (outside under the tent in warm weather and in our Tasting Room during colder months).
Our brewery is also available for Private Events and Parties, such as Christmas/Holiday parties, rehearsal dinners and birthday parties. Contact us at 603-447-5400 or email@example.com for additional information.
Tuckerman Brewing is available in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine. Nik, Kirsten and the crew are producing about 8,000 barrels of beer a year. That's approximately 70,000 cases! It's four simple contents, water, malt, hops and yeast and a lot of love and hard work. It's the little brewery that could!
We are of course very serious about the quality of the beer we brew. With that in mind, we also know that living in the White Mountains of NH, there is a quality of life thing going on too! We are fortunate to be able to enjoy a rural way of living, trying to be sure to take advantage of, and never take for granted the spectacular area we call home. We also know that the people who visit the region look for that special adventure, whether enjoying the athletic opportunities available, just kicking back and relaxing or spending time shopping. As we say, "It's All Good!" We are honored that you take us with you!
We hope you enjoy the site, check us out and try to keep up on Facebook , drop us an e-mail and send us pictures. Ask for us at your favorite store or restaurant and please visit when you come to town. Please enjoy us responsibly.
Enough of the sappy stuff! Let's all raise a pint of your favorite Tuckerman brew and toast the pioneers that saw something special here in the mountains!
